We have been big fans of Plum Baby for awhile now; we especialy love the new range of porridge cereals! We have been known to take suitcases filled with Plum Baby with us on holiday as we did not want to struggle with trying to find local supermarkets or arriving late when shops are shut. We love that there are no
  • preservatives, no artificial additives, no added salt or sugar, no bulking agents, no GM ingredients. And founder Susie Willis? A fab lady whose approach, attitude and ideas bring a breath of fresh air to the world of baby food.
One of the best finds of the year for us; we bought some Designer Mums gorgeous clothing at the Baby Show '07 Earls Court. Their dresses and tunics are great for breastfeeding with their clever hidden access, we love the cut of these dresses and their lovely prints, they look quite striking when on, and we wish they came in even more prints!

We love Kiddymania and Dollymania--find gorgeous dolls from all backgrounds and other great child and doll essentials. Very friendly, approachable retailer. Member of Family Friendly sites online.
Barefoot Blondie's baby range includes a variety of cute t-shirts, babygrows and vests made from 100% organic cotton. They come in a selection of colours and are emblazoned with cheeky yoga slogans. Barefoot Blondie was created by the British actress Georgina Bouzova , an avid yoga fan who felt that there was a lack of comfortable but fashionable yoga clothing. We met Georgina this year and found her range to be both funky and attractive.
We first discovered Buggy Brolly when both MMH's 'No Kick-offs Bath Cuddler'and Buggy Brolly featured in the same section of Baby Hampshire's Innovative Products section in their Spring 2007 issue. We loved getting to know this company better at the Earls Court Baby Show '07 this year; they are a great team, very friendly and extremely helpful. Please have a look at their fantastic umbrellas for prams and pushchairs on their website.

We thought that Topsy Fogg of Truly Scrumptious has come up with an incredible range of baby food. When we tried it at the Baby Show '07 Earls Court we were pleasantly surprised to find that it tasted delicious, and surprise, surprise--we could not taste a hint of salt or sugar. It did not have a processed taste, was very fresh, and we nearly asked for a whole bowl for our own lunch!

Check out their allergen-free range of baby food too, called Alfie's deli. It's recipes are free from dairy, gluten, wheat, egg, nuts, soya, GM free and have no artificial preservatives, artificial colours or flavours, no added salt or sugar and are free from mono sodium glutamate. Can be delivered anywhere in the U.K. and I.O.W.

We met Founder of Green Baby, Jill Barker, at the Baby Show '06 Earls Court. She was patient and supportive as we chatted to her about exhibiting at the show, and we love her extensive range of all things green--especially the sheepskin booties! Jill inspired us that one woman can make a green difference and grow something small into something big, and we are proud to have exhibited at the same Baby Show '07 at Earls Court as this great company too.
The SocialBaby.com. We were really happy to finally meet the Dorman family at the Baby Show '07 Earls Court; we have been big fans of the 'The Social Baby' DVD for years now. Check out their informative website and above mentioned DVD.

The DVD provides a window into the rich and complex social world of babies and looks at individual responses to voice, smell and sensitivity to the environment. The DVD supports parents and carers to manage crying by helping babies to calm themselves and also provides strategies for feeding and developing a consistent sleeping pattern.

We have been fans of Green People ever since we had our first baby and wanted to find organic, unfragranced products that would not interfere with mother and baby skin to skin bonding nor have any sls's or parabens. Thank you to founder Charlotte Vøhtz, for a range we can no longer live without! As a baby massage instructor, founder of MummyMustHave.co.uk Monic Joint thinks the no-scent range is a good find.

j We have been using Ecover's washing powder since our first child developed eczema; we were then converted to their hand soap and household cleaning products that we can feel good about using. Ecover is an international company active in the production of ecological detergents and cleansing agents. Ecover marketed a phosphate-free washing powder even before phosphates were branded as a problem. Ecover has extended its environmental policy to all departments of the company, from production to marketing.
